Hi everyone! I'm Silvia, a PhD student at UC Berkeley, and I’m looking for someone to sublet my lovely room in Temescal while I’m in Italy. The room is available from June to January, and I’m very flexible — open to shorter stays, whether just summer... , fall, or anything in between. Rent is $1050/month, paid monthly.

I truly love this home and always return to it — I’ve sublet the room multiple times before while away, so feel free to ask around or message me for references from past subletters!

The room is large, bright, and fully furnished, in a beautiful 3-story house with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room, and a lush garden. The house has in-unit laundry and dryer, two parking spots, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

You’ll be living with wonderful, respectful housemates (ages 26–32) in a quiet, friendly, and LGBTQ+ inclusive home. We’re looking for someone who is respectful, easygoing, and LGBTQ+ friendly to join while I’m away. Everyone enjoys having their own space (PhDs and school can be intense!), but we also like to hang out, chat, or share a glass of wine when the mood strikes 😊

The location is ideal: 3 minutes from MacArthur BART, 3 minutes to the 6 bus to UC Berkeley, and close to great cafes, restaurants, and groceries.
