One bedroom in shared Albany house, $1100 all inclusive

I have one bedroom available in a 3-bedroom house in Albany, close to Gilman and walkable to bus stops, BART, groceries (Whole Foods, Tokyo Fish Market, Monterey Market, and so on), and the Solano shopping and dining area. One of the bedrooms is mine... through I may be traveling some of the time depending on my work and the ability of my roommates to mind the house. I have signed an agreement with a local massage practitioner for the second bedroom. You would share a bathroom with him.

I've transitioned the house from natural gas fuel to electric, installed a new semi-pro range and slant vent hood, the hot water heater is new, there is a new heat pump with heating, cooling and air cleaning and a new outbuilding that can supply about 100 sq. ft. of shared enclosed space in the yard. The house has a new French drain around it to keep the full size basement dry. There are ample dishes and pots and pans and the kitchen appliances include a Breville countertop oven, an ice cream maker, popcorn maker, stand mixer, Vitamixer, rice cooker, semi-pro espresso maker and more.

I am in my sixties and a UC Berkeley graduate in history with a background in the arts. I work as a writer. I am progressive. I'm fond of chess though I haven't played much in years and do have some chess sets around. There is plenty of room for bicycles in the yard and, if they don't include unstable batteries, in the garage or basement.

I may be able to provide a few furnishings for the bedrooms. The house is more or less furnished.
