1 Bedroom Available in 2BR North Berkeley apartment for $1200 a month
Looking for a roommate in my 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom North Berkeley apartment starting June 1! Your rent would be $1,200 a month for your own room, and youd be signing a lease from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026. The apartment is in a great location:... it’s around the MLK/Cedar area, which I s extremely safe (a lot of families). That means it’s a five minute walk to the Gourmet Ghetto, a five minute walk to the North Berkeley Bart, a five minute walk to University Avenue Trader Joe’s and buses, and a one minute walk to the 79 and 18 bus stops. Campus is about a 20 minute walk away, but it’s totally doable! Laundry is on site; utilities usually are about $60 a month per person total.
You’d be living with me, a 27-year-old male-identifying graduate student. I am a very quiet, studious roommate — I spend most of my time either on campus or in my room watching baseball or reading. I do not smoke and I like to try to keep the common spaces as clean as possible. You would also be living with my small dog. Don’t worry; he is very docile, friendly, and calm (he doesn’t bark). He just likes to sleep on the couch!
About you: Ideally, I’d prefer to live with another graduate student or young professional (22 years or older). I’d like to have a roommate who is quiet, clean, and respects other people’s living space. Please no cigarette smokers. I am open to all genders and LGBTQ+ friendly.
Please reach out to me with a short bio if you’re interested! After that, we can exchange more details.
