Share... 3-bedroom, 2 ½ bath home with owner. Living room, family room, gourmet kitchen dining room, two decks, one with a sweeping view of the north bay., and laundry room. Rental includes access to entire house except for homeowner’s bedroom and bathroom.
Bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet, dresser, and shelves, and quality bedding. Desks and tables for study and work are located throughout the house. There is plenty of natural light. Street parking is generally easily available.
Pets are a mature German-shepherd mix who is exceptionally gentle and attaching, and a cat who is older and affectionate. They need feeding twice a day, and the dog needs to be walked once a day.
House is a 30-minute walk from campus and involves hills. The 65 bus stops outside the house, and the H bus is a 10-minute walk at Lawrence Hall of Science. There are plenty of e-bike/scooters available to rent.
The room is available for rent from mid-August through end of your and beyond, with rent due monthly. A security deposit is required. {Special arrangement for the two weeks in the latter half of August.)
The homeowner is a retired academic, and a firm supporter of education and study. He graduated from UC Berkeley years ago.
