Quiet North Berkeley location close to U.C.B. and downtown. This private creek side cottage is available furnished or unfurnished. There is a full kitchen with gas range and high end appliances, gas fireplace, washer/dryer in the unit, cozy queen bed... , free wifi, hardwood floors, skylights and huge garden visited by deer and wild turkeys. This is a very private cottage, located a good distance from the main house on our large wooded lot. Access to the cottage is by walking up a long driveway from then street. We are located among many redwood and oak trees, with creeks on both sides of the property. All utilities are included. Our neighborhood is one of the most serene and beautiful in Berkeley, with towering redwoods, many old homes and lovely parks. Right next to our property is a lovely waterfall, and the neighborhood has many paths and secret stairways to explore. U.C. Berkeley is about 20 minutes on foot, and downtown Berkeley is 25 - 30 minutes walk. In the other direction, you can walk to Tilden Park, with lakes and many miles of hiking trails, in about 20 minutes. Minimum stay is 6 months and maximum stay is 1 year with possible extension.
