Looking for a roommate in my house on the El Cerrito Hills. The room is sunny and spacious with two build-in closets, with a view of the Mira Vista golf course and the golden gate bridge. The room comes with a queen bed with Tatami mattress and a... working desk. The bathroom is shared with another roommate. There are lots of shared storage space and closets in the bathroom and the hallway. This room is fully furnished with a queen bed with tatami mattress, night stand, working desk and chair.
The house itself is situated next to the Mira Vista Golf course, with a large front and back garden. We have a variety of fruit trees (apples, pears, oranges, lemons, etc) that supplies the house all year round. The house is very quiet and sunny with a panoramic view of the harbor, the bay bridge and the golden Gate bridge.
The house is 15 minutes drive to UC Berkeley (5 miles). The #7 bus that goes between Berkeley Bart and Del Norte Bart stops right in front of the house , making it convenient to go to Berkeley. There are plenty on-site and street parking if you have a car. It is only a two minute drive down the hill to El Cerrito Del Norte BART station and Safeway. 30 seconds more to the 80 highway entrance.
You have full access to the kitchen, the laundry and the dinning area. The house is professionally cleaned every two weeks (cost is included in the rent). We have highspeed internet with WIFI in the house.
My wife and I are both UC Berkeley alumnus. I am an engineer and my wife works in public health. We have a one year old daughter and a stay-home nanny who stays in one of the rooms during weekdays. The other roommate is a 3rd year PhD student from Cal. We also have one indoor / outdoor cat.
The room is $900 per month with utility included. No smoking / no pets.
3 month lease followed by month-to-month renewal. First month rent + $700 deposit to move in.
