Large In-Law Unit in Temescal Home

Our large, in-law apartment is attached to our home, in the heart of the Temescal. It's furnished, however we'll arrange the furniture to suit your needs. It's a two-minute walk to Temescal's restaurants, shops, cafes, etc. It's also a two-minute... walk to Whole Foods and to the Rapid bus stop up to Cal (a 10-minute ride).
Our in-law apartment has it's own private entrance, a kitchen/dining area, and private bath. Access to our laundry room and to the patio is negotiable. The upstairs bedroom is very large and sunny, and it is usually partitioned into a bedroom/living area. The downstairs bedroom is smaller, and it has been used as a study, a second bedroom, and/or for storage. We split the utilities, according to how many pesons are living in the in-law apartment.
We're a quiet couple and I'm recently retired. Our in-law apartment would be ideal for a visiting professor or grad student. A one-year lease is preferred. It's a very nice place in a classic Oakland home, in a trendy neighborhood.
