Very large, quiet, open attic bedroom (300+ sq. feet) for rent in a shared family house. 0.7 miles to campus. The room is either partially furnished or unfurnished (depending on renter's preference). Renter has your own/private bathroom, shared large... kitchen, living room and dining room, shared washer/dryer, and large back yard (with hot tub!). The bedroom is separate from the rest of the house (on 3rd floor, up flight of stairs) and very private.
You’ll share our beautiful, large 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house and back yard with a friendly couple (Anne + Andy). House has fully equipped updated kitchen, large living and dining rooms, back yard with hot tub, and is 10 minute walk to UCB campus. SHORT WALK TO CAMPUS. Also walking distance to Gourmet ghetto, Trader Joes market, downtown Berkeley BART, 50+ restaurants and many other amenities. House is in beautiful tree-lined residential neighborhood in North Berkeley.
This room is ideal for a PhD or graduate student looking for a quiet, peaceful and very comfortable place to study and work.
What's included:
* Large (300 sq. ft.), private, quiet attic bedroom, partially furnished
* Large private bathroom (toilet, sink, shower)
* Shared fully equipped kitchen
* Use of washer, dryer
* Bi-monthly cleaning of common areas included.
*Very large, shared backyard, with hot tub, fruit trees (apple, plum, lemon, fig) and raised beds (with blueberries, raspberries, other vegetables). Ideal for someone who likes to garden!
* Utilities are not included: $150 per month, in addition to rent. Utilities include: water, gas, wifi/high speed internet, trash, electricity.

Note from the owner (Anne): If you're interested, please contact me to schedule a Zoom or phone call, so we can meet each other. Then interested renters can see the house in person during an open house in July (date TBD) and pick up an application. I want to meet all potential renters in person, no phone interviews please!
