Room Available in Huge, Light-Filled Duboce Triangle/Castro Apartment

My partner (27 M), and I (27 F) live together, but I’m leaving SF for an internship so we are looking to temporarily fill one bedroom in our spacious, 1200 sq ft 2 bed / 1 bath top-floor apartment from Sept 1 - end of Feb or a few months extra (dates... flexible).

The apartment is located right at the border of Duboce Triangle and the Castro, a 10 min walk from both Dolores Park and Duboce Park, and also walkable to Hayes Valley, Divisadero, and the Haight. Great public transit access: 4-minute walk to the Castro MUNI station (K,L,M lines) and 1 minute to the 24 bus.
While the nearby Castro is very lively, the apartment is on a quiet street that doesn’t get much noise.

Room options:
– Larger bedroom (12x13 ft), furnished: $2,300/month - comes with a queen-size bed, nightstand, and dresser, and can also easily fit a desk or small lounge area
– Smaller bedroom (8x12.5 ft), unfurnished: $1,750/month (we currently use this as an office/den and have a desk, sleeper sofa, and TV in there - can fit a full bed/dresser/desk)
– Water and garbage included; PG&E + fast Internet normally ~$90/month

Apartment details:
– Huge living room with plenty of space to relax or work from home
– Large, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher + garbage disposal
– Spacious bathroom with double sinks (shared only with one person)
– Free washer/dryer in the building
– Top-floor unit (3rd floor; no elevator) with great natural light from skylights and south-facing windows
– Hardwood floors; high ceilings that make the apartment feel even bigger
– Large entryway that we currently use as a bar/seating area
– Quiet building with a responsive landlord
– No pets allowed
– Street parking only, but our street is fairly easy to park

Neighborhood:
This is a highly walkable and vibrant area with plenty of nearby gyms, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and cafes. It's a super fun and convenient place to live - we both love living in the area!

About your future roommate:
My partner is a 27-year-old man (a Berkeley law graduate) working mostly remotely as an environmental lawyer. He’s clean, respectful, and low-key at home. My partner is not into big parties, but enjoys going to bars, hiking, board games, lifting, visiting wineries, cooking, and playing in a local softball league.

About you:
My partner is seeking a roommate who's mature, easygoing, and considerate in a shared living space. If that seems like you, please message me with more info about you:
- Your name, age, occupation
- Best contact info
- Where do you currently live, and why are you moving?
- What dates are you looking to live here? We’re flexible on dates within Sept 1 - end of February. There may be an option to continue until May or June.
