Comfortable and pleasant basement room in a home in the Berkeley Hills. Ideally seeking a kind tenant who, in exchange for reduced rent, would be amenable to giving sporadic support to the very nice but older house occupants. This could include... things like helping with technical challenges involving TV remote, iPad, etc., accompanying on a (slow) walk around the block, and notifying local family in case of need. Very minor tasks, but a friendly and watchful eye is what is needed here. You will have your own bathroom, and the use of the laundry room. You will also have access to the kitchen, to be coordinated with the needs of the other cooks.There is a lovely deck, also can be shared. Transportation is difficult without a car, as the bus runs only once an hour, and not evenings and weekends.
