Just a couple blocks from the Berkeley Rose Garden and Live Oak Park and a short bus ride to beautiful Tilden Park, hiking trails and Lake Anza. There's also a bus stop half a block from your home that can take you to campus in a few minutes.

Inside the flat you'll find a spacious living room with hardwood floors, a spacious couch, writing desk and armchair; large master bedroom with hardwood floors and a walk-in closet; screened-off guest bedroom with day bed; tiled bathroom with tub and shower; fully equipped kitchen; and private deck with table, chairs, and access to yard. All utilities included. Ideal for visiting professors and international students with children. Can share wi-fi with upper residence but tenants may want to get their own. The owners live in a separate flat upstairs and respect your privacy, but are glad to answer any questions about the area and help you get acquainted with it.

You can also walk, bike or take the bus to downtown Berkeley and the underground train (BART) to San Francisco and other cities. Berkeley connects to major highways, so you can also easily explore the Bay Area by car if you want. Many visiting scholars also enjoyed just hanging out on their private deck, which contains a porch swing, table and chairs, or the yard, which is filled with lemon, apple and orange trees. Read More
