Comfy sunny guest room in congenial home by N.B. BART
Available April 1, $1400/month for one person, one month minimum stay (occasional exceptions made for shorter stays), maximum stay negotiable but not seeking a permanent guest. Rent includes all utilities, fast internet, household supplies, and... weekly professional cleaning.
Our sunny guest room is fully furnished with a comfy double bed with quality bedding, work table and chair, dresser, sitting chair, and large closet. Our home is a classic bungalow located 1.5 blocks from the North Berkeley BART station in a quiet neighborhood, 1.5 miles to downtown and the university. In addition to the usual- bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room- we have a large and private landscaped garden.
Permanent residents here are myself, a 76 year old, semi-retired woman, and a 39 year old man. We are friendly, responsible, communicative, interesting, considerate, and independent, and we seek complementary qualities in a guest. We also host travelers for short stays in an outdoor space, so there can be up to 4 people sharing the bathroom at times.
