Quiet Refuge in the Hills

Except for an oven, the unit has everything, including all-new dishwasher, laundry washer-dryer, air conditioning, and lots of storage space!

The house is set down from the street so is generally very quiet. Outside is a shared patio and sloped... garden with lemon, apricot, and apple trees along with a vine that produces passion fruit. From the dining area window, there is a small view of the SF Bay. We’re close to Tilden park and the bus stops right by the house.

The main residence has been and continues to be my family home for 57 years, so it is made and resided in with love. Aspects of the house are midcentury modern. My father, a historian at UCB for 40 years, wrote books and prepared lectures in this part of the house, and there is a large built-in bookcase.

Some furnishings can be provided and negotiated.

We have cats who stay in our part of the house, but they do not respond well to other animals being on the property, and you may be uncomfortable if you are highly allergic.
