House facilities: Kitchen, living room, dining area, porch, and bathroom are fully furnished (including cookware, plates, etc.) Washer/dryer in-house. Nice porch and backyard sitting area. Bike storage space available. About the area: Quiet, residential area in North Berkeley that is close to BART and many food/culture/entertainment areas.- North Berkeley BART: 15min walk, 8min bike- Buses: 52, 18, 72, 72M, 72R lines 5min walk way; 51B also close- UC Berkeley Campus and Shattuck/Telegraph: 15min bike, 30min bus (52 line stop a few blocks away, free for Berkeley students)- Groceries: 15min walk/8min bike to Monterey Market, 5min walk to Whole Foods, 25min walk/10min bike to Grocery Outlet- Gilman downtown area (small, up-and-coming area with REI, Whole Foods, Philz Coffee, Farm Burger, Ashkenaz Music, 924 Gilman, and more): 5min walk- Solano downtown area (food, culture, and more): 18min walk, 10min bike- Westbrae neighborhood (Beer garden, sushi, bakery, bike shop): 5min walk- 4th street shopping area (upscale shopping and dining): 20min walk, 10min bike Summer renting time is July through August.
