2 room studio North Berkeley garden entrance House

This is a spacious 2 room (plus bathroom) furnished studio in the downstairs of my home in beautiful and quiet North Berkeley. Both rooms are carpeted and the bathroom is tiled. The large main room features a Cal-King bed, chest of drawers, desk,... office chair, rocking chair, bookshelves, and a mini-closet. There's plenty of room for study, writing, yoga and storage. Utilities, including wifi, are included in the rent.
The other room features a breakfast nook table and chairs and a small, equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster oven/toaster, hot plate, and kettle. The bathroom has a tub as well as shower. The studio has access to the house washer and dryer.
The private entry to the studio is through the back garden. The garden itself features a patio table and chairs which are available for use.
The studio is about 35-40 minutes walk and 15-minute bike ride from the north side of the UC campus. There are buses to campus and beyond on Colusa and on Solano Avenues, each about a 5 minute walk away. Solano Avenue is filled with lots of restaurants, cafes, bookstore, grocery stores, etc. There is also a grocery store on Colusa Ave less than 10 minutes walk away.
My son and I live a quiet life upstairs (though I am usually in Australia for several months each year). We therefore are looking for a quiet tenant! House rules are no TV (without headphones) or talking on the phone from 10 pm-6 am.
We are flexible about the length of the lease, from 3-12 months. We would also consider an extension. Read More
